StoneTribe is an alt Reggae / Hip Hip / Pop group who also works together as a music licensing company (StoneTribe LLC), writing custom music soundtracks for film and other media productions. The duo behind the music is Dan De Leon of San Antonio TX & Natoven of Wilmington NC. They enjoy writing experimental music with mainstream appeal.
StoneTribe released their debut EP (Tank Man) in September of 2019. The single "Blood Brother" was signed by AudioFreaks, a UK media management agency. The remix charted at #6 on UK's commercial pop chart and remained in the "Top 40" for several weeks. They followed with collaborations with world renown DJ's, "Funkstar De Luxe" & "Luca Debonaire" for several remix projects that were featured on Spotify editorial playlists. There were several other singles released (Discography) and recently the band released their 1st full length LP: Sync or Swim, in March of 2024. The album was made available exclusively on this website.
Their music is a melting pot inspired by reggae, alt hip hop, pop and psychedelic rock. StoneTribe has a rich and unique sound, which really stands out from the crowd, in a good way. StoneTribe writes powerful music with spiritually conscious lyrics about life, love, and the crazy fun in between. The band wants nothing more than to bring people together, share good vibes and help the world in the process.

StoneTribe LLC - Music Licensing
The music licensing company is a separate "department" of the group. Nate & Dan both have experience in the film and entertainment industry and enjoy working on film, tv and podcast soundtracks as another create outlet and to help fund the music expansion. StoneTribe LLC provides a vast library of custom license ready music. Utilizing a wide assortment of live instruments and endless digital soundscapes, we feature modern mainstream melodies in various genres or music tailored to specific projects like epic cinematic movie scores.

Why we do what we do
"We really enjoy writing music, listening to music and going to see other artists play live music. Music undoubtedly saved our lives and connected us to a world we could survive in. We're all brothers and sisters, living in the same world with many of the same trials and struggles. Music is a common language that can bond us, it's a language we all speak, it's a vibe maker and source of energy. It can also be a source of healing.
Our music has a lot to do with "one love", trying to resonate at a higher vibration, knowing we're all from the same source and are connected with the presence of God (Jah), who is love. We want to pay homage to the legends who inspired the world before us and gave us all this amazing music".
